Annual Run for the Paws 5K Walk / Run
Saturday, 1/28/2012 – 8:00 am at Naples Municipal Airport
Packet pick-up –Friday 1/27/12 - 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at
the
Humane Society Naples – 370 Airport Pulling Rd N; race day, starting
at 7:00 a.m. at the Civil Air Patrol Building.
$20 Pre-Registration through 1/21/12
$25 1/22 through 1/27/12
$30 Day-of Registration – Adults
$10 Registration – High School and under
PANCAKE BREAKFAST RETURNS FOR 2012!
$5 donation to the Civil Air Patrol includes pancakes, sausages, toast,
coffee, and juice.
Hang out and chat while waiting for results.
AWARDS WILL BE GIVEN TO OVERALL MALE & FEMALE AND TOP 3 EACH AGE GROUP
(MALE & FEMALE):
9 & Under, 10-14, 15-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49,
50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80 & Greater,
and weight category for Pets
Finish line timing will continue for at least one hour & twenty minutes
– results will be tallied as soon as possible.

Pets are welcome to participate with their Guardians,
but must be leashed (non-retractable leash) and
up-to-date with vaccinations, begin toward the rear of the running pack
and can not interfere with other participants or pets.
Please only bring pets that
are accustomed to this distance & weather (3.1 miles).

Athletes Release Form:
In consideration of my acceptance to this event, by signing below, I assume all
risks and hold harmless the sponsors, officials, volunteers, and all persons
associated with Gulf Coast Runners; The Humane Society Naples; the City of
Naples; the City of Naples Airport Authority; the Naples Senior Squadron, Group
5, the Florida Wing, the Southeast Region, or the National Headquarters of the
Civil Air Patrol, Inc; and Road Runners of America from any liability, claims,
or causes of action of every kind and nature arising out of or relating to my
participation in this event. For the safety of all participants: no unregistered
participants, bicycles, skateboards, roller skates, retractable leashes,
or roller blades will be permitted.
Baby joggers, baby strollers, and head phones are discouraged.
Any animals that participate must be leashed, vaccinated, must be
physically capable of this event, and must begin toward the rear of the running
pack as to not interfere with other participants. Please only bring pets that
are accustomed to this distance & these weather conditions.
If you disregard these restrictions, you are assuming liability for any
injury which may occur to yourself or others during this activity.
Hot and humid conditions will likely exist, drink plenty of fluids prior
to the race and replenish your fluids at the hydration station along the route
and after the finish line. I also
give my permission for the free use of my name and picture in any broadcast,
telecast, web-posting, or written account of this event.
I further certify that I am properly trained, physically fit, capable of
this event, and acknowledge the dangers of participation in such an event.
